Just because you grow old, it doesn’t mean you need to grow up. Adults should wear costumes whenever possible. Because it is fun.

Just because you grow old, it doesn't mean you need to grow up. Adults should wear costumes whenever possible. Because it is fun.

Do you ever play dress-up as a kid?

Remember how fun it was to put on fancy or silly clothes and pretend you were something else?

Why should that go away when we grow up?

Adults Should Wear Costumes More Often

One of the best things about Disney people is they understand the fun of a good costume.

I love going to the Halloween Party in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, because of all the creative and coordinated costumes.

And they are FUN costumes. They aren’t Jason, Freddy Krueger or some other horror character. And they aren’t a sexy nurse, sexy maid, sexy hamburger, or any other outfit that is best kept in the bedroom.

The costumes are fun and inventive.

Like this group costume from my 2017 Glamping Retreat at Disney World.

My friend Patty knows how much fun costumes are. That’s her there front and center. Her runDisney costumes are adorable.

And my gal Tanya (on the right) is the queen of costumes. Each October, she meets her kids at the bus stop each day in a different costume. Make sure to follow her, because the costumes change every year.

So when a chance presents itself to wear a costume, you better believe I will take it.
